Legal · Terms of Use

Clear rules for one shared sky.

The terms for using the World Air Sports Federation website, your account, membership, championships, rankings and the Judicial High Court.

About these terms

These terms apply to this website and to W.A.S.F. accounts. By using the website you accept them.

Membership and participation in championships are also governed by the agreements you sign when you join or enter (the membership agreements and the championship entry agreements). For those activities, the signed agreements take precedence over these terms.

Your account

  • Give accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
  • One account per person. Do not create an account for someone else.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • The federation may disable an account that is misused or that breaks these terms or the signed agreements.

Membership

New memberships are currently paused while the federation prepares its new membership. Existing memberships continue under their plan and the agreements signed at registration.

  • Your federation ID is permanent and stays the same when you renew.
  • Your digital card can be verified by anyone who scans its QR code. It shows as expired or suspended when the membership is no longer active or the account is disabled.
  • Payments are made through Stripe. The price is the one shown for the plan at the time of payment.
  • For questions about payments, renewals or refunds, contact Member Support.

Championships

  • Entries are reviewed by federation officers, who may approve, decline or waitlist them.
  • When a championship is full, new entries join the waitlist and move up automatically when a place frees up.
  • Results become official when the federation finalises them. Official results feed the World Medal Ranking.

Rankings and results

  • The World Medal Ranking is built from official results only.
  • Athletes can ask to link their account to their ranking profile and can submit results for verification. Both are reviewed by the federation.
  • Do not submit results, documents or evidence you know to be false.

Judicial High Court

  • Complaints must be true to the best of your knowledge. Filing a complaint does not grant protection — only a decision of the court does.
  • A Judicial Protection Shield can be revoked when the rules of safety or conduct are broken.
  • The sanctions register publishes decisions of the World Council.

Acceptable use

Do not use the website to:

  • break the law, or harass, threaten or impersonate anyone;
  • upload files that are not yours to share, or that contain malware;
  • try to access accounts, data or areas you are not authorised to access, or test or bypass the website’s security;
  • copy the website’s data in bulk or overload the service.

Content and trademarks

The W.A.S.F. name, emblem and logo, and the content of this website, belong to the World Air Sports Federation. Do not use them in a way that suggests endorsement without written permission.

Manifestos, declarations and other signed statements are published in their original English.

You keep the rights in what you upload. You allow the federation to store and process it for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

We work to keep the website available, accurate and secure, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. Rankings and results can be corrected when errors are found.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Significant changes are announced on the website.
